Infection Control Nurse

Job Description:
The Infection control nurse is responsible for the identification, prevention and control of outbreaks of infection in health care settings.


Implements infection prevention and control activities and conducts surveillance on hospital acquired infection. Continuously conducts audits and observation on hand hygiene, OR Cleaning and general environmental learning during branch visits. Conducts monthly visits and evaluation of surgical centers and quarterly visits to all clinics. Ensures compliance with local and national regulations especially in health care waste proper segregation and management. Trains and orient new employees on basic infection control practices during initial orientation. Participates closely on facility audit and accreditation. Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License in Nursing At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably with Basic Competency Training for Infection Control Nurse Certificate and IV Therapy Certification.
