In House Mechanic

This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of company buildings, equipment and grounds.
S/he performs preventive maintenance and repairs to buildings so that they are structurally sound, safe, free from health hazards, comfortable and appealing

Duties:

· Buildings and Grounds:

o Repair and maintain physical structures using hand and power tools.
o Paint structure, perform masonry, repair plumbing fixtures and minor carpentry work.
o Make repairs of tool and equipment especially those used in the processing plant.
o Assist, install, and adjust fixtures, other electrical/mechanical equipment repairs and needs.
o Makes sure that the generator is maintained and ready for use at all times.
o Maintain the grounds including eaves, keeping the office compound clean and sanitary.
o Participate as a member of the emergency response team.
· Company Vehicles:

o Repair automobiles and delivery trucks and other light vehicles such as motorcycles.
o Disassemble the different parts of the automobile, identify the problem and repair the concerned part.
Having done that, assemble the parts again

o Replace body parts, which are giving trouble, with new ones.
o Mend damaged body parts and adjust the brakes, mirrors and shock absorbers

o Inspect the condition of office vehicles and suggests when it is necessary to refer repairs or maintenance at the casa.
o Assist and monitors vehicles annual LTO registration renewals and other vehicles entry permits.
