MakatiJob DescriptionJob Description DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees policies, procedures and compliance relating to employees for the organization.Ensure all human resources activities are in compliance with the Philippine laws, as well as implement and oversee programs related to employee benefits and initiatives. Work arrangement programs, maternity leave, HMO enrollment programs, and vacation and sick leave benefits are overseen by the human resources manager as well.Work with the Managers, Directors and Supervisors and make recommendations on potential policy changes to ensure the company offers a competitive package of salary and benefits to employees; also help implement any approved changes.Ensure that their workplace is accommodating and free of harassment, handling any complaints in accordance with company policy and Philippine laws.Responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resource plans and programs are realized.Developing and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to company personnelPlanning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR departmentContributing to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems which involves achieving the following tasks:Implementing and revising a company’s compensation program
Creating and revising job descriptions
Conducting annual salary surveys
Developing, analyzing, and updating the company’s salary budget
Developing, analyzing and updating the company’s evaluation program
Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures
Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
Performing benefits administration
Maintaining affirmative action programs
Overseeing recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads
Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
Overseeing exit interviews
Maintaining department records and reports
Participating in administrative staff meetings
Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
Recommending new policies, approaches, and proceduresMaintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
QualificationsQualifications:Must have over 3 years of Human Resource Management/Supervisory Experience.Must have a Bachelor’s degree and over 8 years of Human Resources Experience. Master's degree in Human Resource Management plus certifications in HR Management is an advantage.Must possesses excellent decision-making, strategic thinking, leadership, interpersonal and ethical conduct skills.Must have experience performing the following:
