Job Description:
This position is responsible for HR services and operations delivery for a defined geographic site, group of functions and people. The position is the Site HR SPOC for VP Plant Manager (or equivalent) in the area. The position is also responsible for alignment and delivery of designated HR pillar (Retention) across the Coal BU
working with other human resources personnel in the group as focal
person.
Human Resources Site Operations Ensure the current manpower complement is composed of the right talent and with the right fit Oversee the on-boarding process to properly engage new employees. Initiate and prompt Team Leaders on the update of Job Description when necessary. Conduct Individual Operational Workforce Planning on an annual basis Forge strong relationships with relevant geographic stakeholder Lead the organizational review and recommend possible changes on the structures and organizational set-up based on short term to mid-term plans of the location. Ensure timely and accurate release of all statutory and special pay-outs; and administration of benefits. Ensure alignment of compensation and benefits administration Ensure the relevant employee engagement program is in place Ensure that Policies and Procedures for Employee Discipline are implemented consistently, fairly and aligned with directives Make the appropriate recommendations to Management Forge strong relationships with external stakeholders Ensure compliance with off- boarding policies and procedure. Talent Retention (Focal) Ensure HCM systems availability, effective implementation and adaption (i.e. ATMS, Oracle Self-service, OTL, etc. ) across Coal BU. Ensures continuous review of HCM Systems for process improvements across Coal BU. Provide strategic plans and guidance on Rewards Management and ensure the consistent implementation of approved programs across Coal BU Ensure the relevant employee engagement program is in place (i.e. Team Building, Sports Fest, Family Day etc.) Develop and plan programs that will intensify Labor & Management Relations and ensure compliance with Labor Laws and Regulations (i.e. Labor Standards) Ensure that Policies and Procedures for Employee Discipline are established, communicated, implemented consistently across Coal BU. Consolidate, review and make appropriate recommendations to Management for “Out of Policy Cases” implemented in geographic location. Minimum Qualifications:
At least 8 years actual experience in HR; At least 5 years leadership experience; Experience: involved in compensation studies, employee engagement, HR technology projects. Bachelors degree in one of these courses:
Behavioral Science, Psychology, Industrial Relations
Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
Mathematics, Economics. Preferred not required. Psychometrician license, SHRM certifications
