The role of the Head of Transportation Solutions is to develop and implement all business development & sales plans, and activities to achieve the Transportation Solutions' sales goals.
He/She is responsible for AF Payment's team of Business Development and Sales Officers high-level performance, selection, development through mentoring and coaching.
The Head of Transportation Solution will invest time in understanding our product and service offerings intimately and position them to the unique demands of the clients and based on what AF Payments Inc. can realistically deliver and provide with uncompromising and unmatched high-quality products and services.
The Head of Transportation Solutions will establish a mutual strong and long-lasting client relationship with the Cooperatives and various transportation government agencies to implement the integration of beep technology successfully into the client's ecosystem.
He/She will work on deepening AF Payments Inc.'s client relationship in its vast network in the Cooperatives (jeep, bus, etc.)
and as such, he/she is expected to be very personable, authentic, honest and has integrity, strong and deep moral & work ethics when interacting and dealing with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
The Head of Transportation Solutions will work very closely with different stakeholders and Groups within AF Payments Inc. He/She will provide thought leadership, management and support for both new & continuing business pipeline development in the transportation industry, in consultation with the Chief Commercial Officer.
He/She is responsible for working to increase sales and profits related to the products & services offered by AF Payments Inc.
This role will continually not only open new leads but maintain current customers and recover lost accounts.
He/She must be an active listener with a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.
Highly motivated and a self-starter who is professional, positive, and not afraid of challenging work.
Able to interact with shareholders, executives, and clients on a daily basis.
As Head of Transportation Solutions, he/she will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and success of specific line of products within the company's portfolio.
His/her focus will be on the Transport Automatic Fare Collection System which is a critical component of the public transportation industry but not limited to: Jeepneys, Bus, Trains, Ferry, and the like.
He/She will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, drive innovation, and ensure the products meet market demands and customer needs.
The Head of Transport will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle, market analysis, pricing, and the profitability.
The Head of Transport will play a crucial role in shaping and driving the success of our products and services.
His/Her strategic thinking, market insights, and collaboration with cross-functional teams will contribute to the company's growth and solidify AF Payments Inc.'s position as a leader in the industry.

In-depth knowledge of the Automatic Fare Collection System market, including industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.

Education and Work Background Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, marketing management, sales, business or related field (Master's degree preferred) With sales and account management experience of 10 years and in a Manager capacity for a minimum of three (3) years Proven experience with at least five (5) years as a Product development manager / Business Development Manager in the technology industry, preferably in the Automatic Fare Collection System domain or related fields such as transportation or payment systems.
Has work experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
Has experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
Has in-person experience including travel to occasionally for customer visits, conferences, and industry events.
Actual field experience in account management on a National Coverage of at least 3 years, especially on provincial remote customers Industry knowledge of Public Transport business and operations, especially for organized bus and jeepney operators and cooperatives Ability to formulate automated solutions and business cases for public transport and retail applications.
Familiarity with transport and payment regulatory frameworks and agencies, eg the National AFCS and PUVMP with DOTR and EMI with BSP.
