Position Overview:
We are looking for an accomplished individual with extensive experience in the retail industry to lead our Finance & Accounting department.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing financial operations within retail, strong leadership capabilities, and an unwavering commitment to ethical financial practices.
You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and compliance.
As the Head of the department, you will manage a team of financial professionals, contribute to the development of corporate strategies, and ensure that the financial health of the organization supports sustainable growth and profitability.
Your leadership will be crucial in driving financial accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across the business.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is an advantage.
- A Master's Degree is an plus but not required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in finance and retail accounting, with at least 1 year in a senior or leadership role within the retail industry.
- Proven track record of managing financial operations within a retail environment, with expertise in areas such as inventory control, cost of sales, and financial modeling specific to retail businesses.
- Strong experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
