Group Finance Solutions Group - Financial Reporting Specialist (SME) - AVP
As Financial Reporting Specialist, your main responsibility is to work on the delivery of the Run-the-Bank (RTB) support requirements for the implementation of the Single General Ledger SAP HANA Projects. You will collaborate with project Subject Matter Experts (SME), RTB and Information Technology (IT) teams to ensure successful delivery of the project. You will review or perform process impact analysis, lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) executions, facilitate and lead detailed investigation and root cause analysis of key project issues and support RTB organizational readiness activities to ensure that relevant impact and changes in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are well documented, conduct training and ensure RTB readiness upon cutover.
In this capacity, you will spearhead the collation of RTB pain points and translate or relate these to business requirements and map to the business delivery end-to-end solution, conduct analysis, document and review business requirements and functional design by working closely with RTB and IT Teams. Moreover, you will independently research issues/questions from the Legal Vehicle Controllers and Business Area Controllers relating to project deliverables to facilitate a resolution, and escalate where appropriate, as well as contribute significantly and provide inputs in project forums and articulate RTB pain points and issues.
You will take an active role with all phases of the project life cycle (i.e. Analysis, design, development, testing and implementation) to ensure that project deliverables meet stated expectations for scope, quality and business objectives, as well as lead the UAT by providing inputs to test scenarios/test scripts, UAT testing and facilitate recommendation of UAT sign-off to Entity Close stakeholders and conduct Business Processes and System Architecture Training to RTB Users. You will liaise with onsite Project Managers, Lead Business Analysts and IT Developers and Testers to ensure project risks and UAT issues are resolved promptly, and support organizational readiness of RTB before Go-live and ensure that all SOPs are documented, trainings completed and work towards having no high and critical issues before Go-live.
For this requirement, you will need to have a Bachelor’s Degree in either Accountancy, Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent course, albeit preferably be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). You are expected to have extensive experience in business/data analysis within the realm of finance and working experience on Global General Ledger Projects (preferably in SAP) obtained from the financial services industry, preferably coming from investment banking. You will need to have advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Access and Excel, and strong communication skills. Finally, you are also expected to have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, have the ability to work with virtual teams, within a matrixed organization and in a fast paced environment.
