Graphic Design Intern

Job Description:
Graphic Design interns at Masungi Georeserve have the opportuniity to work with the award-winnining conservation organization in the Philippines and contribute to meaningful work that enhance awareness and protection of our forests.


At Masungi, our main approach in communications is telling compelling written and visual stories, inspired by our partners, mentors and affiiliates such as the National Geographic Society, the United Nations Development Programme and the International Union for Conservation of Nature. You will learn more about conservation concepts, and aid in mainstreaming these into the Philippine community through your creativity.


Graphic design interns serve as support for the Communications Officer for a period of 3 to 6 months through remote work with scheduled meet-ups in our Quezon City office.


The workplan may be further customized and aligned according to each person, but below are usual tasks on a monthly basis, averaging 3-5 projects comprised of the following:


Digital Posters Brochures and On-site Materials Reports and Infographics Maps Packaging A modest monthly allowance is provided for interns for their work for the georeserve. They are also entitled to a travel voucher for 7 persons in Masungi's Discovery Trail.
Minimum Qualifications:
An appreciation and understanding of the country's environment realitieis; A desire to contribute to conservation through design; Ability to create communcations materials such as infographics, posters, and reports that can send effective conservaton messages, following the georeserve's brand guideliness; Commitment to outputs despite not on full-tme work; Initiative to enhance design direction of the organization.
