To ensure that payment activities are performed in an effective, efficient and timely manner while maintaining compliance with applicable SOX and business controls. Exercise due diligence in performing payment activities within the set global and local performance metric targets and perform IO activities.Payment Activities (which are routinely and daily tasks)
Ensure that payment files, including urgent payments for all currencies, are successfully transferred to the bank before the set cut-off times
Execute Manual payment runs with correct globally set payment parameters
Validate the automated run details and seek for approval
Process manual payments with due diligence
Manage portal payments
Update CPT timely
Display of change and exceptions report
Coordinate with banks and handle queries from stakeholders
Perform daily manual clearing
Approve TRAX payments with proper due diligence (batch jobs)
Mailbox monitoring
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration preferred
1 to 4 years of work experience in a similar or related role (Back Office Settlements, Treasury)
Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
Ability to grasp/learn concepts and procedures quickly
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Computer literate. Knowledge in SAP, and other Banking software (ex: Citidirect)
As critical staff, must ensure business continuity
