PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR A 1 YEAR CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT ONLY.
This position is for a subject matter expert in Expatriate Payroll Administration. Apart from the accurate and timely calculation of the over base payroll and hypothetical taxes of all international assignees, this position plays an important role in implementing expatriate policies and business processes in the expatriate payroll system.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Accountable for the efficient and accurate processing of all expatriate payroll following establishing service level agreements
Responsible for sending out monthly reports to home country payroll contacts and uploading payments to SAP payroll countries
Responsible for the accurate calculation of over-base compensation, hypothetical tax and retroactive payments
Responsible for the data integrity of the expat payroll system, functionality and interfaces by conducting regular reviews and audits and implementing changes as necessary
Administers and implement annual maintenance processes in the expatriate payroll system (i.e. Incentive program, Pay Determination and TR Structure review)
Partners with Global Mobility Operations and Centers of Expertise, and respective home/host country HR/payroll teams to resolve complex and ad hoc payroll issues, and at the same time provide guidance on unique escalated cases
Understands the clear routes of issue escalation between technical and functional issues and provides support accordingly
Works with third party vendors and other global mobility teams in system related concerns
Participates in regular User Acceptance Testing for system upgrades
Reviews payroll processes and implement improvements where required
Participates in various process improvement initiatives within HRSS
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Finance or any related field
Possess background on payroll processing
Must have strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and guidance and independently set own work priorities with high attention to detail
Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and peers
Able to communicate clearly through verbal and written channels with various levels in the organization
Experienced with Windows based applications such as Excel (macros, pivot tables, formulas), Word, Power Point and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Service Now, Workday, SAP HR and Global Advantage systems is highly desired
At least 3 years of experience in international HR environment, specific to global policies and payroll processing
Exposure to SOX compliance is an advantage
