This position will be a member of Information Technology organization, reporting to an IT team leader. The incumbent will deliver software solutions to the customer in support of business needs. Typical activity could include but not limited to: adding new software feature functionality, identifying and fixing software flaws, generating unit tests, writing functional tests, performing upgrades, migrating data, applying 3rd party software patches, delivering service requests and providing incident coverage. The incumbent will also provide early life cycle support during upgrades and beta releases on production servers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Apply knowledge of current technologies and methodologies with business subject matter to develop technical solutions
Confer with stakeholders to gain an understanding of the situation requiring intervention
Translate process into practice through the current Information Technology toolsets
Troubleshoot and investigate
Develop solutions to problems involving causes that are not obvious
Respond to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors that do not have a known cause
Perform tasks necessary to ensure data integrity and system stability
Expand use of current information technologies, techniques and processes as they apply to Goodyear.
Increase breadth and depth of technical knowledge by expanding knowledge base
Write and maintain all documentation supporting primary area of responsibility
Flexibility in work schedules, including evening, weekend, holiday and rotating shift requirements (scheduled in advance)
Enable follow-the-sun support model with Akron and Luxembourg associates

Dersired:
1-3 years of experience with the following:
? Developing custom web applications and solutions
? Incident resolution for a user population
? Working knowledge of DevOps tools for building and releasing code
? Demonstrated successful experience in developing efficient and effective solutions to business problem
Knowledge , Skills, and Abilities:
Experience in a systems administrator role
Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure
Experience with scripting, log analysis, customer support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
