Geographic Legal Counsel Specialist (Talent Force)

Understand the CORE areasUnderstand relevant company policiesUnderstand corporate governance and company actUnderstand basic corporate concepts and transactions such as share transfer, liquidations, mergers, etc.Draft corporate documents such as minutes, powers of attorneys, etc.Coordinate review, approval and implementation of changes in entity information and corporate structureDevelop subject-matter expertise in the concerned support areaAct as a POC for support areaUnderstand and suggest process improvements in the support areaAssist team in drafting checklists and process documentsDirectly liaison with internal stakeholders on various issuesManage SharePoint and communication recordsIdentify and support any specific trainings for the teamSupport implementation of new initiatives in CORE support area or within Legal/GLNBuild credible and effective relationships with onshore counsels and within GLN teamSupport recruitment efforts for the teamSupervise resources, and assist GLN Team Lead in people management, as requiredProvide coaching and mentoring to junior members of the teamProvide individuals with positive and developmental feedbackTry to 'give back' to GLN/Legal. Educational Requirement:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Law
Compliance related global professional certification is a plus
Skills and Work Experience
Corporate law experience preferredMinimum of 3-4 of experience at law firm or as in-house counsel and/or in legal outsourcingFluent in English with strong oral and written communication skillsGood experience in generic/legal research and reporting, including due diligenceGood understanding of commercial agreements, legal and compliance principlesProficiency using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)Effectively manage priorities and stakeholder expectations
