Job Description:
Job Summary: The General Manager is responsible for the overall management of all operational requirements and marketing initiatives of the company. This position will provide leadership in business development and internal communications of the company.


Major Responsibilities: Provide leadership in the delivery of safe and cost-effective operations of the company Ensure optimal cleanliness and maintenance of facilities such as the following areas: reception, gaming arena, function rooms, kitchen and dining areas, briefing room, airlock, pantries, locker room, storage rooms, office area. Ensure safe and excellent maintenance of all equipment including: phasors and vests, computer terminals, computers, aircon terminals, lights, sounds, kitchen appliances. Coordinate with the Accountant, the Supervisor, and Chef in the areas of budgeting, inventory stocking, and recording, etc. Provide leadership as well as needed backup support in the daily operational activities Ensure that accounting procedures are followed and the company is in a sound financial position Provide leadership in the delivery of excellent customer service, exceeding customer expectations Resolve in a timely fashion and report all issues relating to customer and employee relations Develop and oversees innovative marketing communications to client groups, utilizing creative marketing media Ensure business growth, new product/services development, quality control, profitability and operating costs efficiency. Coordinate staff, effective workflow and manages employee shift-schedules so as to ensure smooth operation
Minimum Qualifications:
Management experience gained from recreation, entertainment/gaming industry preferred Coaching and skills training Financial accounting and inventory management Negotiating skills Project management and presentation skills Able to promote workplace health and safety Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Effective performance management, communication and interpersonal skills Honest, dependable and proactive Self-motivated, disciplined and creative Ability to maintain confidentiality
