General Ledger Accountant

Job Description:
Ensure that the accounting records of the company are kept accurately in a timely fashion Analyze and book journal accounting entries Manage bank registers, cash-flows, payments processing and preliminary approval Review journal entries Perform variance analyses Prepare account reconciliations Performing the annual inventory of the company and assisting with financial and tax audits; Document/Monitor internal controls in view of the regular audits Minimum Qualifications:
Preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience and University degree in the field of Accounting or Financial Management Proficiency in working with Sun Systems Strong accounting background Good technical knowledge of MS office Advanced MS Excel know-how Effective analytical and problem-solving skills Very good English language skills.
