Job Responsibilities: Accounts Payable• Ensure that all approvals are obtained before processing AP invoices• Accurately enter all vendor invoices in a timely and efficient manner • Ensure that all expenses are coded to the right GL account and dimensions• Communicate with vendors on payments and payable inquiries• Reconcile vendor statements as necessary to ensure completeness of records• Work with the Controller to ensure that all accruals are in place for month-end closing• Send out Credit Card Expense Reports and review them for accuracy and receipt compliance General Ledger/Month End• Responsible for all month end journal entries including bank reconciliations• Work with key managers to ensure that all invoices have been received and processed• Master the chart of accounts and be able to explain what belongs in each GL account• Review variances versus budget and prior year for income statement preparation and be able explain variances and identify incorrect GL account postings• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports with regards to GL postings • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as necessary• Constantly strive to improve daily responsibilities through innovation and tenacity• Other tasks that may be assignedJob Requirements: • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/ College Degree, Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent• Required skill(s): accounts payable, general ledger, basic accounting, analysis• Proficient in MS Excel including pivot tables, lookups, macros and knowledge of MS Office, MS Access, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint• 2 or more years of experience specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent • Ability to work on night shifts in Silver City, PasigRequired skills: • Must possess strong analytical skills• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information• Good organization skills, including the ability to prioritize work• Good personal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team• Willingness to adapt to changing business needs• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines• Possess a work ethic that includes neatness, punctuality, and great attendance• Detail-oriented and self-directed
