The Opportunity
Pursuit Support team at GDS serves as an extension to the Pursuit teams onshore, enabling them to support a greater number of opportunities and adding more value during the pursuit process by assisting with a number of defined activities.
The Supervising Associate would need to manage the team; assign the projects to SPOC and would be responsible for relationship management, people management, monthly reporting. He/she would be responsible for managing the content for proposal/pursuit deliverables, CVs and teambooks, administrative and other support duties for other members of the team.
Your key responsibilities
Pursuits and proposals

Realizes projects for the Pursuit Team throughout the proposal, e.g., kick-off document, teambook realization, CV collection, data input, editing, collecting fee information and review of client presentations and proposals

Project management of projects such as the CV /photo project or reporting documents Leads other pursuit teams such as Pursuit assistants and Team assistants

Liaises and gives work and QCs other members of the team such as in Creative Services and Business Support members Sales support

Assist our teams throughout EMEIA to present our firm to gain new business. Provide support to update the contents of our pursuits portal including generic proposals, service line presentations and workbooks based on input from the Pursuit Team

Help update client presentations and proposals with content from research and input from our teams Update CV teambooks on an ongoing basis from our CV project tool

Leadership/administration

Team leader, responsible for goal setting and review (PMDP) of team members; input for other team members in area of Creative Services and Business Support

Review team’s work and ensure quality assurance

Leads team members and assigns all projects, monitors delivery Relationship management with EMEIA and Sub-Area pursuit contacts

Liaises with other team leaders in Creative Services and Business Support to input information for performance of other members of the team

Demonstrates a connectedness with and understanding of other GSS teams in order to bring solutions in cases of out of scope requests Works with shift leaders on improving processes, training and other concepts for the team

Assist with reporting and quality control procedures

Excellent skills and desire to perform open source research to enhance our work

To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor's degree

Approximately 7-11 years of related experience, at least 5 years of experience in a lead position and should have established people management skills

Communication skills: Excellent written and oral communication skill in English is essential as the role requires direct communication with international team members and clients

Ability to multi-task

Tools: Well versed in using MS Office
