Basic Responsibilities
Works to align operations and market strategy, such as defining market potential, identifying key customers and supporting business development activities.
Responsible for planning and selecting products to sell in the company’s concept stores and wholesale account
Forecasting purchasing of products based on business requirements, sales patterns and trends finance targets and new business initiatives
Analyze customer buying patterns and forecasting future brand requirements
Maximize margins and provide a commercially viable range of merchandise at competitive prices
Be able to analyze the samples for better construction, costing reduction, etc.
Handles colors approval process
Prepares and manages pre-production meetings with the factory and the buyers that are happening inside the factory
Prepares production file with details documents, approvals, samples and swatches and comments on the sample
Coordinates with Production team if any clarification is required during production
Gives clarification to production and QA/QC Team if related to style, workmanship / trims etc.
Coordinates with QA/QC Team for initial, mid and final inspection of shipment.
Keep up to date with the market trends and reacting to changes in demand
Liaise with other departments within the company to ensure projects are accomplished
Responsible for price negotiations and to make recommendations for efficiency and maximization of margin
Develop and maintain good supplier relationships
Assist in the annual buy plan through product and market segmentation
Responsible for handling inventory management effectively
Creates accurate and timely purchase of orders in line with set OTD (open to buy)
QualificationsBachelor’s/Collage Degree in Industrial Management / Industrial Engineering / Business Management or equivalent
Proven 3-5 years of experience in the related field
Must have above average aptitude in: Analytical, Organization, Detail Oriented, Problem Solving, Planning, Follow-up, Project Management and Time Management
Negotiating skills and the ability to network and influence people
Good organization and multi-tasking skills
Excellent Communication/Presentation skills and customer service skills
Familiarity with Garment Industry standard equipment and technical expertise
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Tech-savvy
