Inspects worksites to ensure hazard-free environment
- Prepares hazard analysis of work methods and procedures
- Conducts toolbox meetings to ensure all tools and equipment are adequate and safe to use
- Evaluates risks of recognized hazards to determine priorities of corrective actions and levels of concern
- Provides assistance in implementing safety program corrective actions
- Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses.
- Promotes safety practices and enforces safety guidelines at the job site.
- Performs emergency response drills.
- Receives reports from and responds to orders issued by Department of Labor inspectors.
- Prepares monthly and annual OSH and WAIR reports.
**Qualifications**:
- At least about 2 years of proven experience as Safety Officer
- In depth knowledge of OSH policies and procedures
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Must have a mandatory forty (40) - hour basic OSH (BOSH) training course applicable to the industry;
- Proficient in MS Office;
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Diligent with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
**Salary**: From Php15,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
