FP&A Analyst
The primary focus will be assisting with all aspects of financial planning and analysis for AIG Philippines Insurance and Guam; forecasting, budgeting and producing high quality management reporting to senior members of the Finance and Management team on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.

Main Responsibilities:
·Prepare the annual budgeting process and quarterly rolling forecasts for various functional groups;
·Develop strong working relationships with relevant Senior Business Leads and key internal stakeholder groups which he/she support;
·Actively partner with the Business Leads, ensuring the provision of accurate and concise financial information to facilitate the business with strategic decision making;
·Assist with managers accountable for their budgets and providing key insights into various expense drivers;
·Effectively prepare quarterly rolling forecasts for various functions within required deadlines working with all key stakeholders within the Corporate and the wider Finance group, to ensure Corporate mandates/guidance are followed;
·Ability to summarize and provide succinct executive level summary commentary linked to various key performance indicators and expense drivers for management review;
·Prepare detailed analytical reviews on a monthly and quarterly basis vs. budget for various business groups as well on expense variance drivers in an effort to provide greater transparency into reported numbers both for the wider Finance Management group as well as the business groups we support ;
·Prepare quarterly summary GOE analytical reviews for consolidated legal entities within Investments as part of the quarterly close process,documenting key movements on comparable periods prior to quarterly filed results by Controllers;
·Actively identify, challenge and analyse anomalies in all reported numbers in a timely manner to ensure transparency on the expense base with accurate data reported;
·Develop and maintain business knowledge in order to respond to ad hoc reporting requests;
·Maintain robust supporting data files for budget, forecast and actuals, clearly documenting assumptions and drivers for ease of managements review along with clearly reconciled movements in numbers;
·Ensure data integrity of financials across reporting platforms are thoroughly completed and reconciled in a timely manner between systems to ensure accurate financial reporting at all times;
·Prepare monthly consolidated Travel expenditure reports to leverage by members of the FP&A group for various business groups;
·Maintain proper documentation and procedures as required as part of AIG's process documentation requirment.

Job requirements:
o BA in Business Studies/Accounting and Finance degree required and part or fully qualified professional accountancy qualification;
o Minimum of 3 or more years relevant experience within the financial services sector with experience in a similar role , experience in an Insurance company an advantage;
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to deal with executive level management;
o Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essential;
o Highly Proficient in use of Excel and PowerPoint;
o Strong System Skills;
o Strong analytical abilities with ability to analyse drivers and trends, and actively challenge components with key stakeholders across the organization;
o Excellent Problem solving abilities;
o Strong organizational skills & ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic fast paced environment;
o Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple projects;
o Self-starter with strong initiative and team spirit who can function across a large organization and build relationships throughout and work independently.
