About the Financial Reporting Associate - Accounting/Entity Close Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the general ledger for the transactions, products, and businesses within the Global Financial Control remit.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares and submit financial reports in a monthly and quarterly basis
Investigates variance on the movements of account balances between periods
Substantiates balance sheet accounts in accordance with existing policy and substantiation requirements
Prepares root-cause analysis and tactical solutions for the issues encountered for preventive and corrective actions
Coordinates with business partners to ensure the quality of financial reports
Encourages initiatives to drive Front to Back efficiencies and improve the control environment
Drives resolution of critical issues, and recommends solution to management with potential financial, regulatory, and reputational impact
Provides direction on the buildout of knowledge strategies for the function supported

To succeed in this Financial Reporting Associate - Accounting/Entity Close role, you must possess a good understanding of Global Transaction Banking process and control environment as well as relevant experience in Financial Control, Financial Reporting or related space.
Key Requirements:
Ability to work in virtual global teams and in a matrix organisation
Ability to work in a multicultural organisation to manage stakeholders across locations
Knowledge of, and experience in using process design and improvement tools/methodologies
Open-mindedness and ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
Flexibility regarding problem solving, and month-end reporting working hours
Ability to keep pace with technical innovation and market driven initiatives and maintains a broad understanding of the investment banking industry offering
Finance or mathematical based degree with accounting certification or relevant post graduate degree an advantage
Audit experience from the Big 4 is preferred
