Finance Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION
Assists Finance Head in Financial Statements preparation (ex. month end adjustments, bank reconciliations, etc.)

Prepares variance analysis for books of accounts

Provide supervision to Junior members of the Finance team and coordination within the Finance Department

Responsible for taxation and statutory reports and compliance of the Company

Validates documents for approval and processing

Coordinates with other departments in relation with the monitoring and recording of revenues and expenses

Assists in the strict implementation of Accounting Policies and recommends enhancement in accounting procedures and polocies to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Other duties demanded by the nature of the position

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Completed Accounting degree and is a Certified Public Accountant

Atleast 5 years work experience in Financial and General Accounting

With 3 years direct supervision

Knowledge in MS applications

Proficient in problem solving and proactively creates solutions;

Can provide day to day supervision to Junior members of the Finance team

Knowledge in closing of monthly reports (ex. bank reconciliation, accruals, reversals, and other month-end adjustments)

Knowledgeable and with experience in government related compliance especially BIR

Works well under pressure

Must be analytical and highly motivated

Willing to render overtime

Can work unsupervised

Detail oriented and willing to learn
