Key Responsibilities:
- Define the appropriate level of liquidity that the business should maintain and its composition (cash, investments, bank facilities).
This includes the management of cash flows and the optimization of the capital structure.- Secure the liquidity to support the business and its initiatives through various fund raising activities.
This involves preparation of information memorandum, business plan, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation.- Establish and negotiate credit lines with various financial institutions.- Manage loan agreements and finance contracts- Prepare business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions and aid senior management in making such decisions.
This includes merger and acquisition initiatives, fundraising initiatives, partnering activities, new projects and other identified opportunities.- Keep up-to-date on financial trends and new developments within the financial market as it relates to the energy industry and provide strategic insights.- Research and report on factors influencing business performance and identifying areas for potential improvement.- Work closely with other business units in the implementation of business development projects and initiatives.
Acting as the point person in Finance in supporting other business units.- Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for business improvements.- Develop and maintain good working relationships with financial institutions and other external stakeholders.
Qualification Requirements:
Minimum education requirement: Bachelor's degree in any business related course
Minimum qualifications:
- 4 to 6 years with at least 4 years in the corporate finance or corporate banking/investment capacity.
An MBA or CFA is a plus but not a requirement.- Must have a background in Corporate Finance or Corporate Banking/Investment within a fast paced and dynamic environment- Must have an experience in dealing with finance and commercial transactions and working with financial institutions.- Must possess strong business acumen and analytical skills- Proficient in the English language, both in written and oral
