The Finance Manager will be joining the Finance Shared Services Center of a global gas and oil company based in BGC, Taguig. He/She will be managing the end to end financial transactions of the Manila center. (Please note that this is not a service delivery role.)
Accountabilities:
• Responsible for the preparation and submission of timely and accurate financial information and analysis to business in the periodical reporting cycle
• Responsible for ensuring the successful preparation and coordination of the annual budget
• Responsible for ensuring rigorous financial control and treasury management procedures• Leads the supervision and review of current financial system and processes with a focus of improving efficiency within the Shared Services Center’s finance organization
• Responsible for the Implementation and maintenance of financial policies, controls and procedures to ensure compliance with group rules• Responsible for ensuring tax compliance such as withholding Tax, VAT reporting and corporate income tax
• Responsible for ensuring good credit management• Maintain contact/liaison for internal business partners, auditors, tax agents, tax authorities and banking partners
• Provides support and advice to business divisions on all finance related matters• Coordinates and manages all legal, purchasing and IT activities with corresponding local, regional and global stakeholders
Qualifications:
• Experience of 10 years with relevant job experience in Finance and Accounting management in a multinational organization
• At least 3-5 years in a Finance Manager role, accountable for managing efficiently the operational budget of an entire site/center
• Relevant college degree, CPA required
• Skills: Technically proficient – Finance and Accounting, Local Statutory requirements, Chartered Accountant with experience in an ERP Environment (SAP), knowledgeable with various Tax and incentive Regimes available in the Philippines• Competencies: very good organization and communication skills coupled with strong leadership, high integrity, collaboration and decision making capabilities in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
