TaguigJob Description The Finance Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the company’s financial operations and reporting including statutory reporting. This includes overseeing the day-to-day management of financial transaction and procedures in compliance with the Group’s policies.
Preparation of financial reports and analysis of financial performance against key business metrics
Prepares budget and regular forecast in conjunction with the requirements of the Head Office
Evaluation of processed accounting information with reference to the business processes and appraise operating effectiveness and profitability
Responsible for month-end closing process in local finance functions. Ensure transactions for the months are completely captured and recorded in the books. Accounts for revenue and costs/expenses impacting the financial results
Lead team in an efficient and effective basis in the performance of daily finance operational functions (i.e AP, AR, etc.) by developing clear strategies and clearly communicating this to the team
Lead and ensure compliance with statutory annual audit process and tax reporting. Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met
Manage cash flow and forecasting. Ensure that billing and collection schedules are adhered to and vendor terms are maximized to support operational requirements
Implement and maintain procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines from HQ
Assess and analyze finance business processes in the country, streamline and make recommendations for business process improvements
Interface with Managers of other departments, assist and respond to queries about Finance and Accounting matters
Provide Business Partnering role to the Country Manager
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA or ACCA or any equivalent qualification
At least 8-10 years’ work experience in Finance and Accounting and has done full sets of accounts. MNC experience is a plus
Experience in managing a team. Strong leadership skill to effectively direct, manage and mentor team members. The candidate must have led a team.
Good knowledge of IFRS and Philippine GAAP. Big 4 firm experience is preferable
Analytical mind, commercial and business acumen
Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships. Must have strong work ethics
Must be proficient in English language, strong in written and verbal communication skills
Should possess strong skills in Excel Applications and knowledge of ERP accounting software such as SAP and Oracle are preferredAdditional Information
