Job Description:
Start your year with a new exciting job with Microsourcing! We are looking for a Senior Accounts Officer to work with an Australian Underwriting Company for our MOA, Pasay City office. Shift would be M-F, 7am to 4pm.


Position Overview: Working as part of the finance team, the Finance Accounts Officer will undertake accounting tasks in a timely and accurate fashion and be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the general ledger and finance insurance system Reports directly to the Co-Founder | CFO Responsibilities: Daily Maintenance of General Ledger system Raising Xero invoices from the Written Bordereau reports Lloyd’s bordereau reporting on various classes of business on written and paid basis Assisting Co-Founder | CFO and Underwriting/technical Accounts Assistants in preparing various monthly/quarterly/yearly financial and management reports Downloading online platform reports and reformatting into standard Written Bordereau reports Reformatting facility reports into standard Written Bordereau reports Assisting in the reconciliation of monthly payments for facility and online business Banking and receipting Cashflow monitoring and projection reporting Resolving customer queries and enquiries in relation to their accounts Monthly State Stamp Duty returns and payments for all states Accounts Payable - Creation of Payment Requisitions, posting to GL, uploading to bank Monthly Preparation and Reconciliation of Accruals and Prepayments Various Monthly and Year End Reconciliations Daily Bank Reconciliations Cash Balance monitoring and transfer of funds Liaising with the external auditors and helping the process of auditing Running monthly credit control reports and following up on outstanding debtors Person of contact for account enquiries Ad hoc tasks from time to time Minimum Qualifications:
CPA/CA qualified Minimum 5 years relevant work experience A good working knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Office, in particular MS Excel Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Effective time management and the ability to be self-motivated Insurance experience is an advantage Start | Jan 2020
