**Job purpose**
Responsible for maintaining the Fixed Asset subledger, reporting, and processing Asset journals in the General Ledger and the reconciliation of accounts within the Balance Sheet.
This role will support the various Finance Specialists to ensure the efficient and effective presentation of Financial Statements to the customer.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Ensure all Fixed asset accounting entries and reconciliations are completed for month end close, or other defined deadlines
- Constant review of the accuracy of data being delivered, eliminating the risk of any financial impact which was unforeseen
- Process Assets Adjustments, Retirements, and Transfers including review, Retire, and Transfer Assets for Closed Centers
- Create assets in Asset Management Module in ERP and maintain integrity of asset data in the system
- Prepare monthly Fixed Asset GL deliverables such as month end close, asset clearing account reconciliations, management reporting, and posting JEs for capital expenditures
- Maintain proper and timely accounts reconciliation, including sub-ledgers on a monthly basis
- Review fixed assets Roll-forward and Statistics and assists with preparing when needed
- Provide accounting information and details to internal and/or external auditors
- Contribute to the development of continual best practices in the department
- Ad hoc duties and projects as assigned
**Qualifications**
- Experience on financial accounting and reporting in a blue-chip multinational PLC environment.
- Experience on building strong relationships with peers and Finance Leaders.
- Preferably with 3 years' experience in Finance and Accounting
- Preferably with Fixed Asset experience
- Good knowledge in using MS Excel
**Working conditions**
Hybrid and Mid-shift schedule (4pm to 1am)
