The Opportunity
Responsible for directing the daily operations of the entire feed manufacturing and delivery process and for producing and delivering high quality feed. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations and agencies. This position involves tight deadlines and scheduling.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan for the factory in line with manufacturing strategy and required volumes
Ensure to optimize the Raw Material planning through Material Resource Planning.
Ensuring finished feeds quality meets standards set
Ensuring cost of production is managed to agreed levels and budgets(staff/equipment).
Working closely with Lab/nutritionist and related vendors to ensure high quality, cost effective and value- added raw materials;
Maintaining raw material storage as per SOPs
Manage and maintain the operation of the mill as per HSE guidelines.
Coordinates with Lab and Healthcare department for ISO and HACCP implementation and surveillance
Responsible for the wastage controls (raw materials) to meet the business requirements

The ideal candidate must have the following:
A bachelor’s degree In Feed Milling Technology or animal husbandry, mechanical engineering or related

field
Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in feed mill management.
Feed formation Experience preferred.
Clear understanding of poultry nutrition
Familiar with poultry feed production
Knowledge of properties and quality of feed raw materials.
Clear written and spoken English
Computer literacy essential
