Description
Responsible for the attainment of the production goal of theunit, aligned to overall efficiency and profitability goal of the company.
Plans, controls, develops and improves farm operational procedures to improvefarm performance. Main primary responsibility with meeting KPI targets andadherence to Farm Rules, Biosecurity, Animal Welfare, Biosecurity and SafetyGuidelines.
30%Plansthe daily work with the Farm operators, trains working process for newemployees, monitors and evaluates theperformanceof employees. Providescontinuous training to farms personnel on systemsand processes with regardstohouse preparation, chick acceptance, brooding, growing, harvesting and proper documentation
20%Checks and analyze the daily flock health statusand investigate mortalities by an autopsy; daily feeding condition,waterquality, bodyweights, flock uniformity and egg production rates versusstandards and devises programs andstrategies on feeding and bodyweight management, lighting, ventilation,etc. to ensure meeting performanceobjectives.
10%Controlsand executes programs on farm Rules, Biosecurity, Cleanliness and overall FarmHygienge, includingadherence to Animal welfare and Safety guidelines.
10%Executesproper vaccination and medication program; Oversees QA process of flock gradingand egg sortingproceduresand other farm activities.
10%Analyzesand ensures accurateness of daily flock reports and make necessary correctiveactions when needed
10%Plans,controls and monitors farm inputs like Parent stocks, feeds, medicines andvaccines, equipment, etc.
10% Continuousimprovement of processes and other tasks may be assigned by the Superior.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications
-Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science or Veterinarymedicine or related field.
-Experience
Minimumof 3 to 5 years work experience in managing broiler breeder farms.
Preferablywith experienced in managing Tunnel ventitatled farms
-Skills
Knowledge of farm management/production processes(brooding, growing and laying management)
Knowledgeableof basic HR practices, etc.
StrongLeadership skill: A demonstrated ability to lead people, positively influenceand get results through others.
Abilityto work in a team environment.
Demonstratedstrong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strongcommunication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
Proficientin Microsoft Office Suite.
Effectiveat interacting with regulatory agencies, facility leadership, plant personnel,consultants etc.
Able to do shift work
Able to stay at a housing in farm or company area.
Abilityto adapt and learn in a changing work environment, policies or regulations.
