Job Description:
Facilites Manager, provides a diverse range of general services support to the operations such as but not limited to the management of the acquisition, delivery of logistics and facilities, repair and maintenance, materials handling, custodial services and/or other related duties in accordance with day-to-day requirements of the operations/department.
Carries out various activities related to such areas like shipping and receiving, materials handling, warehousing and inventory control, and/or property management, as appropriate to the position.
A. FLEET MANAGEMENT Establishes/improves operational manual, fleet administration standards and policies for all company light and/or heavy weight equipment, machines/vehicles operation. Operates various items of light and/or heavy equipment as appropriate for routine site maintenance, removal, and/or repair activities. Fully in-charge in the safekeeping, care, and maintenance of all light and/or heavy equipment. Ensure each equipment is in good condition at all times in order to keep, support and deliver the need of the operations on scheduled and within its established budget. To train and to equip personnel specifically driver mechanic/machine operator. B. PROCUREMENT AND PURCHASING Maintains various supplies as appropriate to the needs of the operations/unit, may coordinate and expedite the purchase of assorted day-to-day supplies and equipment. Manage suppliers and develop purchasing strategies which meet the operational requirements of the company. Directs the acquisition of materials, equipment, and supplies for use in the administration and operation of the company with quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. Manages sales contract negotiations for the purchase of expendable and semi/non-expendable items C. ASSETS MANAGEMENT Manages the monitoring and control of the ordering, storage, and use of company assets Establishes economic inventory levels in order to ensure ready availability of regularly-used inventory items at the least cost Establishes regular stock inventory inspection to guarantee the good working condition Manages the enrollment and coverage of all company-owned vehicles to the appropriate insurance plan ???????D. ENGINEERING SERVICES Manages the execution of facility construction, improvements, repairs, and maintenance Manages contract negotiations for the lease of properties, and engineering and construction services Provides support in the fields of civil, electrical and other fields of engineering Directs technical inspection of office facilities and equipment to ensure worthiness of the same ???????E. SAFETY AND SECURITY MANAGEMENT Directs the protection of people and assets against threats, disasters, and hazards Formulates policies to restrict physical access of unauthorized personnel, to protect from hostile acts and physical incidents due to accidents or emergencies in the workplace ???????F. HOUSEKEEPING Manages the maintenance of a neat and clean office premises Oversees the maintenance of cleanliness in all areas of the company Devises strategies to improve the physical appearance of the company and its premises Manages all errands and courier activities ???????G. Performs other functions as directed by the management from time to time
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; postgraduate degree or units in Business Administration is preferred At least 5 years of experience in the field, at least 2 years of which have been in a managerial capacity Licensed Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
