Your contribution at AIG
As a contributor at AIG you are the one the clients turn to in times of need. You act with speed, composure, compassion and knowledge to solve problems and the work you do every day is the heart of AIGs business.
Responsible in preparing account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts such as Cash, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Common Stock, Retained Earnings, Suspense, etc. This includes monitoring of reconciling items to ensure that no items will aged more than 90 days and to ensure meeting the company standards for account reconciliation.
Job Requirements:>Graduate of a Bachelors degree in Accountancy or any other Finance/Business-related courses - Preferably with at least one year working experience in Finance & Accounting functions
>Knowledgeable of the basic accountingMust be detail-oriented Competencies/Key Knowledge
>Knowledgeable on MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, Power Point and Access), SAP experienceis a plus.
>Must have good analytical and problem solving skills
>Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload (e.g. incoming work, projects).
>Ability to comprehend basic documentation.
>Ability to write complex correspondence to communicate information effectively.
>Must be highly accurate, detail-oriented, and able to complete work rapidly. - Ability to document work in progress in accordance with applicable procedures.
>Proven ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
>Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced, multi-company environment with numerous deadlines.
>Must be able to effectively utilize the technical systems required to do the job.
>Good work ethics, open minded and with the ability to work under pressure, prioritizes and handle multiple assignments/tasks.
>Ability to manage deliverables against tight deadlines
>Excellent team player that can work independently
>Strong Math aptitude
