Texas Instruments is looking for an energetic engineer with a passion for process. This position provides the opportunity to drive continual improvement at all levels. Our team is primarily focused on driving improved procedures and processes. We are searching for a self-directed, highly motivated engineer to join our team.
The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Process Engineer in this role include:
Process & Quality Engineer will be based in Philippines Subcontractor in executing operational performance focusing on quality, on-time delivery and new product/process introductions.
Oversees processes and operations for new and existing products in the subcon.
Quality Assurance: Specifies and ensure conformance of the standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, change control and reliability monitor of TI products based on TI requirements.
Work with subcon to implement CA/PA following customer complaints/issues and conduct periodically audit.
Responsible for overall performance of subcontract houses providing Texas Instruments Assembly/Test or Turnkey services. Required to drive subcon performance scorecard improvement.
Introduce continuous improvement techniques to improve current production methods, processes and increase productivity capacities. Devise strategies to improve production yield and efficiency
Manage customer product lifecycle. This includes timely engineering prototype delivery, successful ramp to production, new product/process quality, resolution and closure of engineering issues.
Maintain strong relationship with the subcons to enable superior business support.
Minimum requirements:
Masters or Degree in Engineering or equivalent is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Semiconductor manufacturing; Assembly process
Related experience as a Customer Quality Engineer, Technical Sales or Supplier Quality Engineer
Knowledge of Failure analysis and Reliability and IC assembly experience
Subcon Management Experience is an advantage.
Experience in working with Molds, Wirebond and Die work will be an added advantage
High energy and able to work under pressure.
English proficiency, both speaking in writing.
Analytical and problem solving capabilities
Willing and free to travel under short notice.
