Events Manager

Job Description:
The EVENTS MANAGER is responsible for managing the promotional, social, and business aspects of all events to ensure its successful and timely execution as well as the achievement of the event’s objectives and financial targets.


Areas of responsibility include the following:


Working with the different heads, teams, and committees to brainstorm for and create the annual ECCP events calendar Monitoring timelines and deliverables for all ongoing events Researching and monitoring market trends to identify other opportunities for events and partnerships Identifying partners/sponsors with a holistic approach, rather than on a per event basis Client/partner relationship development and management Preparation, monitoring, and reporting of events budgets Monitoring of events profits for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao Regular monitoring and supervision of all upcoming events Leading or monitoring negotiations with events suppliers, together with the senior events officers (printing, catering, venue, talents, production outfits, etc.) Preparation and checking/proof reading of marketing materials/collaterals Publicity planning and implementation in coordination with the Communications and Content Manager Hiring, training, supervision, and mentoring of events team, including student interns and trainees as needed Evaluation of event partnerships and proposals Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years work experience Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Advertising, or related degrees preferred
