Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities Manages events from pre-production to post-production and ensures that all deliverables are met within budget and within the expected time frame. These include but are not limited to event: Operations Administration/logistics Finances Marketing/promotion Security and safety Manpower Coordinates and works closely with clients/partners both internally and externally to ABS-CBN to ensure the successful mounting of events Develops event concepts and overall plan according to requirements, target audience and objectives; effectively presents these to ABS-CBN management and external clients/partners Recognizes possible event venues and secures its availability (through permits, coordination with officials, etc.) Manages event budget Negotiates contracts as needed with vendors and clients to keep event costs at a minimum without compromising quality Identifies and books talents to match event requirements Coordinates with suppliers regarding set ups, client representatives and handling client inquiries Secures supplies needed for the event; oversees installation of event collaterals as well as efficient removal of paraphernalia after the event Prepares weekly written reports to the Integrated Events Manager and post mortem report after an event Handles all necessary documents and administrative needs as per event requirements Serves as support for any other Integrated Events activities, events, and promos. Work Environment Office environment and field work
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or Management) At least two-year experience in managing events for corporations/business groups/NGOs/communities/schools/government agencies/LGUs; organizing events for television, radio, digital, and other media platforms is an advantage Background in media, journalism, sports, advertising, marketing, and business communication is preferred People skills, including communication, negotiation, and persuasion Business skills, including planning, conceptualizing, and sales pitching Leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills Excellent presentation skills (creation of presentation and actual delivery) Excellent report preparation, time management and fund custodianship skills Ability to work in a team fostered environment Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment with attention to detail; excellent time management skills Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule
