My client is a cost consultancy and have been providing totally managed, multi-disciplined professional support service solutions throughout the construction industry for over 20 years. They are in the business of providing commercial solutions to problems, before, during and after the construction phase and are currently recruiting well versed Quantity Surveyors with previous experience gained working on infrastructure/rail projects will be considered.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be based from offices in Riegate and shall be assisting with the progression
The successful candidate will be:
• Co-ordinate with other technical services departments.
• Give direction to administrative and clerical staff.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, quantity surveyors, and other third parties.
• Organise appropriate tender enquiries.
• Administrate correspondence and tender documents.
• Supervise tender submission.
• Collection and distribution of feedback.
• Hand over of tender files to project team.
• Investigate cost effective and / or alternative solutions.
• Oversee data entry onto estimating software.
• Organise start up, mid bid, and review meetings.
• Prepare tender summary and costed risk registers.
• Maintain awareness of latest techniques.
Previous experience performing such duties is a mandatory requirement for consideration for this role.
Ideally the candidate will have an understanding of primavera programme plans.
There will be bonuses/incentives for picking up new clients/work.
