Position Overview
The candidate will become part of the ESG Screening team who supports MSCI’s ESG Screening solutions by providing quality analysis and value-add insights into companies’ business involvement ties for clients.
Scope of Responsibility
Conduct research and profile Japanese companies' specific business involvement data
Handle and answer inquiries from clients
Monitor and analyze industry and market trends related to Screening methodology
Compilation and reporting of QA findings and defects
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Excellent Japanese and English comprehension, writing and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Good computer knowledge, including good working with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work under minimum supervision
Ability to work well in a collaborative global team environment
Knowledge in assessing Annual Financial Reports and public company documents is an advantage
Desired Experience
With at least 1-year work experience on data analysis and research but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, sustainability, or related degrees.
Familiarity with responsible investing principles is an advantage.
