Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse set of stakeholders and teams. This role will be responsible for sourcing and closing deals with new and identified clients. He/she will be in-charge of increasing the company's targeted revenue sales on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. This role is critical in bringing the company to the next level of growth for 2020 and beyond.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To develop and execute a business plan that leverages assets within your territory, build a killer pipeline, and yield reliable forecasts.
Solution selling, negotiation, and closing
To achieve annual sales targets aligned to your territory.
Build relationships and drive sales through proactive outreach to the company’s existing customer base (cross-sell, upsell, platform expansion), and conduct aggressive/smart prospecting campaigns to greenfield accounts.
Represent the company at industry events and engaging with prospective customers.
Work closely with Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Consulting, Marketing and Product Management and a variety of content contributors and resources and, of course, our beloved customers.
Build bridges and deep relationships
Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally 3+ years in software solutions sales (ERP - Enterprise Risk Management, CRM – Customer Relationship Management, etc.)
Experience working with established sales methodologies
Experience selling cloud and/or SaaS-based solutions
Proven track record of attaining quota
Strong communication and presentation skills
A successful record of forecasting accuracy
Aptitude for understanding how technology can improve business processes
Extremely curious and able to draw connections between seemingly disparate ideas
Proven ability to build a groundswell of interest among a customer base
Fearless prospector and willingness to do what makes them uncomfortable when it’s necessary
Competitive, always striving to be # 1, but in a collaborative way
