Check the quality of and edit the machine-generated Filipino translations of our English subtitles to achieve higher translation accuracy. Regularly provide helpful feedback to our Simple Subtitle Creation team as well as propose strategies on how to improve the creation of our Simple Subtitles (or our English subtitles that have been simplified for easier translation into other languages using Google Translate). Create learning materials that may be consulted anytime by the Simple Subtitle Creation team. Create Simple Subtitles as needed. Form the core of a fun-loving Movie English content team dedicated to changing the world. Work remotely from wherever you like. Be part of a dynamic and supportive startup team from all over the world. Minimum Qualifications:
A tech-savvy college graduate with a high level of interest in video content and the digital platform A genuine interest in the education-technology startup culture A passion for languages Fluent in English and Filipino Impeccable written and spoken communication skills Familiarity with slang and Millennial speak Skills in interpreting figurative language Previous work experience as an English-to-Filipino translator Technical writing skills or familiarity with technical jargon Excellent research, analysis, and transcribing skills A critical thinker and highly trainable self-starter with a professional work ethic
