As an English copywriter you will be working within a team of copywriters, you'll be responsible for both copy writing your own work and proofreading others. As a copywriter you will be expected to develop your skills as well as use creative instincts to develop engaging concepts to fulfill client expectations. Previous experience of working in Digital is preferable, however previous experience of working to deadlines and to short briefs is essential. Main Responsibilities:
- 5 years experience with client facing
- Work in team with an Art Director under the supervision of a Senior Creative
- Responsible for generating stand-alone copy, or text to complement visual concepts created by an art director, across many platforms, including:
- Websites, mobile apps, emails, social media, blogs
- Marketing materials
- Press and print advertising
- Press releases
- Articles
- Brochures
- Participate in brainstorming sessions
- Work on specific brands assignments
- Write fresh, intrusive creative headlines & body copy and ensure to adapt creative concepts from different languages (Arabic, English, French is a plus.)
- Supervise the correct creative adaptation of own copy in different languages with the help of the concerned copywriters (Arabic, English, french.)
- Search for creation-related topics in all available medias (bookshops, internet, photo reportage, editorials etc...)
- Show curiosity in observing or finding human insights
- Show curiosity in all business related and cultural matters
- Understanding the message the client is seeking to deliver and translating this into attractive copy
- Receiving feedback and using it to grow and improve as a copywriter
- Understanding client specifications to craft copy that is on brand
- Keeping copy consistent and identifiable for each client
- Producing creative ideas for innovative campaigns
