Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY Lead, assist, coordinate, and/or provide support for the design and implementation of corporate interventions within the Employee Formation and Volunteerism Program, which aim to cultivate and to strengthen the culture of public service within ABS-CBN.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES 1. Works with the Program Manager in designing, developing, and implementing Employee Formation and Volunteerism initiatives, which include but may not be limited to the VMV: Deepening Commitments to Service and the Employee Volunteer initiatives. Activities range from the following:
Contracting with relevant parties Designing Mounting/Implementation (will include facilitation and processing) Monitoring Evaluation/Documentation 2. Ensures that initiatives operate within the policies and procedures of the organization
3. Researches relevant employee and organizational data and recommends design adjustments for existing initiatives and/or creation of new interventions
4. Works with the Program Manager in forming partnerships with internal and external organizations and institutions to improve and to expand employee volunteerism initiatives (ex: expansion of resource speaker pools, creation of additional employee volunteerism opportunities, etc.)
5. Facilitates the creation and processing of necessary documents and requirements (ex: MOAs, deal memos, contracts, etc.)
6. Particular to the employee volunteerism program:
Monitors employee volunteer requests Coordinates with relevant internal units to recruit employee volunteers Ensures coordination between public service event initiators and volunteers Maintains the employee volunteerism database Assists in marketing efforts to heighten awareness of public service programs and volunteer opportunities (e.g. writing of articles for publication in internal company sites) 7. Prepares reports and presentations to relevant stakeholders
8. Provides manpower complement in the implementation of internal public service programs events, when needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, preferably but not strictly limited to Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, Organization Development, or Social Work Exposure or interest in development and social work, culture management, and corporate social responsibility At least 2-3 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position Skills: Technical Skills: Program design; Facilitation/ training; Project management; Time management; Presentation Computer: MS Office Communication: Highly proficient in written and spoken English and Filipino Character traits: Strong interpersonal skills; able to establish rapport with people from different backgrounds, positions, and sectors Organized and meticulous Team player and collaborative Trustworthy Committed Self-starter With a heart for public service Able to respond and adapt to changing work conditions (ex: evening or weekend work may be sometimes required)
