**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Can work with colored wiring and must be able to identify them by sight.
- Good in troubleshooting and must be able to find the root cause of issues and think logically about solutions.
- Can read blueprints and schematics and use an array of tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical parts.
- Installs and monitors the performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
- Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
- Leads, guides, and/or trains other electricians in applicable procedures and techniques.
- Repairs and maintains motor control centers and programmable logic controls (1000 volts and below).
- Plans electrical secondary system additions or modifications.
- May perform work of lower-level electricians.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Reads, employs and updates electrical panel schedules.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electricians license required.
- Minimum** two (2) **years experience in the construction of water and wastewater treatment facility or related industry
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to be assigned to various project sites within and outside Metro Manila.
- Must be willing to work six (6) days a week.
