This role is responsible for coordinating with the Information Specialists ensuring the maintenance and quality of the company
database, industry, financial markets and macroeconomic information.
The Economic Database Manager is responsible for properly addressing feedbacks coming from
clients regarding company and financial related information. You will be expected to provide necessary support to sales and customer support, ensuring they are equipped to serve our customers/prospects.
In addition to the Information Specialist responsibilities, this role will be responsible for the recruiting, training,
coaching, supervision and performance evaluation of Information Specialists.
In delivering high-level pre and post sales expertise, you will need to have intimate knowledge of the functionality, content and other aspects
of of our client's products, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, attention to details and analytical thinking.
Degree in Economics (Economists are preferred).

Excellent command of English and Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia or Malay.

Prior relevant experience in working with economic information.

Minimum two year manager experience.

Solid understanding of economic concepts and excellent knowledge of top companies inthe region, industry and macroeconomic statistics.

Good understanding of external business information use.

Excellent knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Recruiting, training, coaching, supervision and performance evaluation of new Information Specialists within their responsible region.

Ensure all Information Specialists within their region are informed and trained on new features and/or enhancements to internal company/financials tools.

Work with global teams to improve internal tools in order to improve job efficiency.

Act as the point person for questions and/or issues from local Information Specialists within their responsible region.

Maintenance and updating of the company database in the product(s) under your responsibility. Updating of company profiles according to the schedule agreed.

Where applicable, uploading and quality control of financial statements. Create, maintain, manage and map standards in order to assure proper uploading of financial data
and proper display on the user interface.
Where applicable, creation of company profiles and manual collection of financial statements in order to maintain an up to date reasonable set of companies in the respective
product.
Maintenance and development of existing company and industry databases, outside of the central database.

Maintain and update industry statistics on Industry Profiles.

Regular checking of the client's Financial Markets page, making sure information is up to date and accurate.

Maintain and update Macro and Consensus Forecast pages on a regular basis.

Where and when appropriate, collaborate with regional or global product/development teams and with sales and/or customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and
migration to future client's products. Continually identify up-selling and/or cross-selling opportunities.

Other duties as requested by your immediate manager.
