Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, coordination and preparation of the Company’s SEC filings (10K, 10Q, 8K, etc.) collaborating with different teams including but not limited to legal, IR, functional departments, M&A, FP&A, etc.
Responsible for assessment and implementation of all technical accounting topics impacting the company. Lead team to form company’s position on complex transactions or accounting matters, such as revenue recognition, business combination, convertible notes, stock based compensation, assets impairment, segment reporting, capitalization of internal software development cost, etc.
Monitor development of new and emerging accounting pronouncements, assess the impact and lead the implementation efforts of such pronouncements
Work with different teams to review material contracts and provide practical advice from technical accounting standpoint
Develop relationships and work closely with external auditors, business leaders and senior management to ensure communication of critical issues in a timely manner
Support IR with investor deliverables such as earnings releases, investor Q&A and other presentations
Participate in the annual audit and quarterly review process with external auditors
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting. Certified Public Accountant is required
10+ years of demonstrated relevant experience. Experience in Big 4 technical accounting group is a plus
Ability to clearly and concisely document and effectively communicate complex accounting and reporting issues to finance and non-finance personnel
Willingness and ability to dig into details to accomplish tasks and complete projects
Highly proactive with strong follow-through
Works effectively in a fast-pace environment with multiple deadlines; can adapt quickly to changes and possesses strong work ethic
Proactive and organized with excellent planning, analytical, and project management skills.
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and outstanding interpersonal skills
