Job Description Under the guidance of the General Manager and the Field Sales Leader for the territory, and in accordance with hotel and company policies, the incumbent oversees all sales activities.
The primary goal is to position the hotel effectively in the market and achieve RevPAR-focused objectives.
Responsibilities include sales and marketing planning, developing promotional strategies, and ensuring the sales team's daily performance and effectiveness.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet RevPAR and catering revenue targets.
Contribute to achieving and surpassing the hotel's budgeted GOP.
Lead and manage the sales team to consistently exceed sales goals.
Identify and acquire business from key commercial and leisure accounts, focusing on feeder markets.
Collaborate with the Revenue Manager for accurate forecasting and revenue optimization.
Assess and adjust sales strategies based on market trends and performance data.
Provide regular training and coaching to enhance team skills and performance.
Handle recruitment, performance evaluations, and recognition processes for the sales team in line with company standards.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings as required.
Maintain and promote a positive image of the hotel through continuous online presence via media and social media channels.
Qualifications Minimum 35 years of sales and marketing leadership experience in chain hotels.
Experience in the Philippine hospitality industry is preferred.
Diploma, Higher Diploma, or University Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related fields.
Proven success in hotel sales, marketing, or revenue management.
Effective team management and departmental leadership skills.
Existing network of active commercial or leisure accounts aligned with hotel markets.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to articulate business strategies clearly.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Professional appearance, personable demeanor, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
