DevOps Engineers follow industry best practices to deploy cloud compute resources using standard system administrative methods as well as applying infrastructure-as-code techniques. In addition, this role is expected to stay abreast of new cloud services and products as they appear on the market and have a basic knowledge of how those innovations can be extended into the enterprise. This role is the front line for all technical expertise for cloud-based resources.
Positions in this function include those who monitor and operate computer and peripheral equipment: review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for large-scale computer systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
Provide expertise in software systems programming, operating software applications, consulting on complex projects/existing applications, timely completion of scheduled jobs, and overall operating systems. Also includes overseeing environments’ health and facilitation of high severity incidents to improve the state of service availability and continuity.
Develop processes and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs
Document all hardware, application, facility, etc. problems and take corrective action as required
Generally, work is self-directed and not prescribed. Works with less structured, more complex issues. Serves as a resource to others

Required Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience as DevOps Engineer
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Amazon Web Services cloud platforms
Hands-on experience with automation tooling and implementation
Knowledge and experience in implementing CI/CD tooling to integration into automation and orchestration activities
Working knowledge of Infrastructure technologies (server, network, storage, load balancing clustering, etc.) that interface with change management tools (Chef/Ansible, Azure Resource Manager templates (ARM templates), CloudFormation, Terraform).
Experience in Systems Monitoring, Alerting and Analytics
Amenable to work on a midshift or night shift in IT Park, Cebu City
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Unix operating systems
Proficiency in Scripting Language: Bash, PowerShell and Python scripting
Proficiency in Native Scripting tools: AWS SDK, Azure Blueprints, GCP Cloud Functions
Log aggregation reporting tools, such as: Elasticsearch, New Relic, PagerDuty, Splunk, SumoLogic
Cloud SIEM tools, such as: ThreatStack, Azure Sentinel, AlienVault
Familiarity with IT standards and best practices, audit, security and compliance (ex: ITIL, ITSM, SOC2, HIPAA, HITRUST CSF)
