Job Description :

Are you looking for a role managing data, reporting and ensuring standards are met as a way of working? If so, this is the role for you.
As Demand Manager, you will manage end-to-end demand forecasting (both Volume and Gross Value) across all consumer healthcare brands to improve forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and customer satisfaction levels in line with external benchmarks.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
LEADERSHIP
Contributes to and leads significant projects to transform the operating model, and delivers the benefits required including gross to net, complexity reduction, cost of goods and working capital reductions etc.
EXPERTISE
Establishes and embeds the Demand Forecasting processes to support the Supply Chain Operating model and Core Commercial Cycle (CCC)
Establishes processes to support Modern Trade and General Trade Channels' specific forecast standards. Drives enhanced service levels and reduced working capital requirements for customers
Help drive the 'one number' mind-set to drive business decision making and forecast transparency / functional accountability
Manages Demand Forecasting input into the key Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) meetings including Demand Review / Supply review and regional S&OP meetings
Ensures appropriate identification and understanding of demand forecast changes against short and long term horizons to support effective supply chain function. Provides key inputs to support E2E Supply Chain thinking and effective decision making
Integrates inputs on Trade Spend and on Net Sales to help on forecast decisions
Develops existing technical and IT capability to support baseline statistical modelling to deliver enhanced forecast accuracy
Ensures adherence to rolling 24-month forecast.
Performs internal measurement and reporting of demand forecasting KPIs to drive improvements in forecast accuracy, bias, and working capital
Analyzes root causes of KPI misses and helps in driving the needed forecast corrections
PARTNERSHIP
Acts as unbiased and neutral Business Partner to the LOC Commercial Team
Performs seamless handover of demand forecast and relevant market intelligence to supply planning hubs to facilitate optimal inventory levels to support the business
Works with Sales teams to examine deployment of trade spend to identify the presence of uplift
Coordinates cross functional teams to deliver sales gap closing opportunities as required
Works with Supply Planning Hub and with local Supply Chain Team to address supply gaps
Participates with the LOC and with the Market SC Team in the planning and move-out activities for the short-dated or excessive stocks to avoid write-offs
Assists the Demand Forecasting Lead Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 2 years of experience in Commercial Sales / Marketing / Demand Forecasting / Finance operations in a Healthcare/ FMCG environment
In depth knowledge of Demand Forecasting in a Healthcare/ FMCG environment
Very high level proficiency in MS Excel and other system requirements
SAP APO experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Strong planning ability & able to work on own initiative
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to lead cross functional teams
Qualification in a supply chain related discipline, logistics, supply management, demand management, operational management or MBA is desirable
