DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide direct bedside careMake rounds with the physicians and carries out orders relevant to all patients of careEndorses patients to the incoming staff nurses, and when transferring patients to other unit/departmentReceives endorsement from the outgoing staff nurses, and when a patient is to be transferred to their unit/departmentMonitors, records, and reports symptoms and changes in patient's conditionInforms the physician of patient's conditionMonitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activityPrepares patients for, and assists with examination and treatmentsActs as patient's advocateCoordinates wth other members of the health team regarding patients's treatment and proceduresResponsible for ordering, preparing, administering, and charting of medications and treatments as ordered by the physiciansPlans and prioritizes nursing care activities/programsFaacilitates admission, transfer and discharge of patientsAssists and supervises, nursing aids, ward clerks and orderliesKeep endorsement sheet updatedMaintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidentialContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTION:Monitors and maintains the completeness of the E-cartReports to the immediate superior any problems encountered in the unit/department for immediate resolutionCoordinates ambulance conduction to the supervisorsEvaluates output of the dayPerforms other functions as the need arises or additional tasks assigned from time to timeBachelors degree in Nursing Licensed Nurse Updated continuing education BLS/ACLS trained Has updated IV therapy license
