Data Processing Technical Specialist

Job Description:
The Data Processing Technical Specialist is responsible for delivering day-to-day support in data preparation and data processing to ensure timely submission of accurate reports for different internal (Customer Business Development, Research & Analytics) teams and special projects under supervision from senior staff.



Functional/Technical:


Prepare, process, verify and investigate that the data used for processing will meet client’s needs and objectives Prepare, process, verify and investigate survey questionnaires and reports generated Ensure regular backup of data/information in the computer servers Project Management:


Plan, schedule and establish data processing workflow with regular monitoring of activities in order to meet the overall schedule of research projects Manage resources effectively (including manpower allocation) to ensure a more effective and efficient discharge of the data processing function Ensure data processing plans, schedules and issues are communicated with relevant members of the customer business development group for further action planning /solutions Minimum Qualifications:
University degree of Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or other relevant four-year degree course Must have at least 1 year experience in information systems technology. Previous FMCG or research-related industry desired. Must have strong knowledge in quantitative and qualitative research. Project management experience is also an advantage Adequate applied knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications as well as other information systems / statistical software applications
Knowledge in SPSS, SAS is an advantage Should be good in logic and with above average communication skills Should have an eye for detail
