Studies data sources by interviewing users; defining, analyzing, and validating data objects; identifying the relationship among data objects.
Plans data integration process by developing common definitions of sourced data; designing common keys in physical data structure; establishing data integration specifications; examining data applications; examining data models and data warehouse schema; determining best-fit data interchange methods; assessing middleware tools for data integration, transformation, and routing; developing project scope and specifications; identifying factors that negatively impact integration; forecasting resource requirements; establishing delivery timetables.
Validates data integration by developing and executing test plans and scenarios including data design, tool design, data extract/transform, networks, and hardware.
Improves data integration by designing and evaluating new data interchange formats; improving physical design; rewriting data policy, standards, and procedures;
Maintains team accomplishments by communicating essential information; coordinating actions; obtaining expert input; reviewing open issues and action items; contributing information to team meetings and reports; transferring knowledge of data integration process, techniques, and issues to application and support teams.
Facilitates initiatives and working groups for specific initiatives such as data privacy and security.
Implements data quality initiatives including identification of critical data elements, data certification, and systems for quality measurement and monitoring.
Identify opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses to drive marketing and merchandising efforts around customer acquisition and conversion
Discover new opportunities to optimize the business through analytics and statistical modeling
Partner with the Technology teams to deliver a stable and highly available reporting platform
Work with business owners to identify information needs and develop reporting; primary partners include the MANCOM, senior management team, and functional group leaders.
Oversee all aspects of analytics and business intelligence projects
Provide key business insights to decision-makers and executives through data mining and analytics. Develop and maintain reporting and analytical tools, including Business Objects. Integrate web analytics into transactional and customer analytics.
Develop and own KPI Data Visualization dashboards.
Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
3-6 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge & experience on the different database types.
Must be willing to work in Ortigas Center
