Customer Development Manager - General Trade (Negros Island) Job Description
This position will handle Distributor Management for Negros Island (to be based in Bacolod). We also have open positions for Ilocos/Cagayan Valley and Davao.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, implements, and monitors plans towards the achievement of targets of his / her accounts. He / she provides daily work direction to his / her team of distributor(s) so that sales targets are achieved within budget spend rate.
Direct responsibility for achievement of sales targets of his assigned distributors. He contributes to the growth and operating results of the company by leading and building the skills and abilities of his distributor(s). Manages distributor(s)’ sales people as he / she oversees the company's distributor operations for assigned area.
Develop plans to address variation versus Budgets, provide demand forecast for responsible area.
Manage Trade Promotional Budget.
Maximize sales and manage the allocated Trade Fund to generate the desired profitable sales mix. Utilize the full suite of business tools including SAP based PTCS and SPO, as well as external data resources such as AC Nielsen and AZTEC and efficiently manage Trade Promotional Budget to achieve maximum volume returns.
Develop plans to address variation versus Budgets, provide demand forecast for responsible area. Develop and implement distributor(s) and / or customer business plan in alignment with the area's strategic Sales, Marketing and Category plan.
To achieve Business Objectives of Operating Profit, Volume and Strategic Business Planning.
Implement data analysis and other programs to optimize KC Reach / Coverage. Achieve coverage, call / day, effective call (productive call), work plan targets.
Implement priority code lists by customer type and implement a cost-efficient GT Model.
Provide accurate sales forecast and align customers / distributors and KC Supply Chain process / activities where applicable.
To achieve superior reach, distribution and availability of KC products.
Implement Category Management disciplines and solutions with GT and small-medium modern trade customers and Shopper Research outcomes / activities in General Trade outlets where applicable.
Initiate, develop, implement and evaluate promotion strategies and activities with assigned customers according to annual sales, marketing and category plans. Consistent application of business management and analysis tools (e.g. PTCS, SPO) to support total responsibility for assigned Trade Promotion Funds. Implement and enforce Merchandising Guidelines.
Implement distributor / customer Business Plan. Develop and maintain distributor / customer profiles. Develop distributor / customer business planning and review presentation. Manage company’s relationship with assigned distributors / customers with an emphasis on developing new business opportunities. Establish strategic, cross-functional relationships and regular dialogue with key stakeholders.
Inform all key stakeholders on trade and competitive intelligence and provide recommendations as they apply to assigned distributors / customers.
Participate in the full utilization and compliance with KC mandated GPM process for all consumer sales staff (may include third party sales and merchandising teams).
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a business-related course
2 years of experience in FMCG Sales, specifically in distributor management
S trategic thinker with excellent skills in data analysis, account management, and time management
Preferably based in Bacolod
Global VISA and Relocation Specifications:
K-C requires that an employee have authorization to work in the country in which the role is based. In the event an applicant does not have current work authorization, K-C will determine, in its sole discretion, whether to sponsor an individual for work authorization. However, based on immigration requirements, not all roles are suitable for sponsorship.
This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role’s country only. K-C will not provide relocation support for this role.
