Credit Officer

Verifies loan applicant's personal data, financial data and credit history through trade checking, bank checking, company/employment verification and credit investigation
- Verifies loan applicant's payment history of previous or existing loan/s with other financing institutions
- Collects relevant information through reliable sources to determine credit worthiness of applicants.
- Minimizes financial risk to the organization by assessing and advising on creditworthiness of prospective and existing customers
- Involved in the collection of delinquent accounts
- Performs other work-related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications/Profile**
- Graduate of any four-year business course
- Preferably with at least six (6) months related experience in loan/credit review
- Has knowledge in credit analysis, loans/credit operations
- With strong analytical, judgment and decision-making skills
- Must be innovative and creative in approach to loan/credit review process
- Willing to do field work.
